| The 6teen Crew |

Well it's been a while but here goes. In a group of friends we all decided that we're so similar to the kids on the cartoon 6teen that we now watch the show and laugh at the similarities. Some of them are starting to get frightning. I personally am the black character Wyatt, mostly because i practically stalk a girl that dumps me and i become overly depressed. Story of my life.
So anyways everyone that has a character linked to the show went to dinner tonight at the Tavern in the Park. Which is a very pricey restaurant in the middle of our city's largest park. We all dressed up and went to pretend we were high society, even for a moment. I found it very hard not to yell profanities and wound up saying grace. Everyone at the table is now doomed to go too hell. So anyways, after paying for a portion of the birthday boys meal between 5 people and my inclusion on the tip, i ended up with 50 bucks less. The most i've ever spent on a meal. Still, it was REALLY good. I had Chicken stuffed with Ham and Swiss cheese with a mushroom sauce. It was probably the best chicken i've ever had (i eat a lot of chicken so that's saying something) and everyone's meals were outstanding. So anyways, thats it. I can't wait to finish exams and start playing my Wii. (that is if i manage to get my hands on one before i'm done.) Edit: As of 9:00 a.m. this morning i have a Wii. |

So i get home and i recieve a new stereo system as a present. In no way was I expecting this, its just that my father won it and is giving it to me. I have a stereo already which is pretty old and doesnt play burnt cd's very well so i'm thinking of replacing that one.
Thats the only thing i can really think of doing with it. Anyways this is pretty much all thats new with me. Other than Karel showing me Lost and i've gone a little crazy about the show. I'll be done season 2 soon. |

I was driving home on Friday at about 430 when i happened to see Jon Dolan and Khris Lent outside of Jon's car at (which turned out to be)Sancho's house. So i drive up to say hello and when i recieve my hello's back and "where did you come from?!" response, Jon quickly had a revelation and asked me what i was doing all weekend. My immediate answer was "i don't know", to which Jon replied "Wanna go to Minneapolis to see the Jay's play?! Were going RIGHT NOW!". There is a lot more to this story but to make things short, I got ready in 10 minutes and went to watch the Jay's beat the Twins. (Jays lost on Sunday however) |

So, i'm at a mobsters funeral, surrounded by some scary italians and powerful members of Winnipeg society and some cellphone starts ringing. I put mine on silent so i knew it wasnt mine, also it was not my ringtone. So people were looking around to who left their phone on like an asshole. About 3 or 4 rings happen before a thought of horror comes across me and i realized the ring is coming from my pocket. I quickly take out the cellphone, burst out the front door and shut off my phone. I forgot that i set an alarm to wake myself up, i was awoken earlier than expected by my father to goto this funeral and forgot entirely about the alarm. So there you have it, my cell phone rang during a funeral. I'm the asshole people hate. |

Alright! So it finally happened, Silent Hill came out. I've been waiting for a movie since the first glimmer of a project was announced back in 2002. I was not dissapointed. I really enjoyed the movie and it was worth the wait. Rory threw it up at the theater after close so the empty theater made it that much better. I'm going to watch it again with Karel on Monday and i'm looking forward to it. |

Alright since CY no longer has the "latest movie" thread >:( i will now write the latest movies ive seen to people who don't care on live journal!
Haute Tension: Pretty tense movie right to the end, also awesome climax which makes the movie great. So i suggest this one if you like to be scared.
Thank you for Smoking: I liked it, some of the jokes were expected and a little on the dull side but it was overall a good movie, i liked it. It reminded me alot of Lord of War.
The Inside Man: Spike Lee didn't shit black this time. It was fun, but only if you like Clive Owen, if you don't you probably won't like this movie. Same for Denzil Washington
Lucky Number Slevin: It reminded me of Snatch but not as good. But i liked it all the same, i thought it was a neat little film about a "Kansas City Shuffle"
edit: oh i almost forgot, its a OVA but whatever
Trunks The Story: Totally awesome, Trunk's transformation to super saiyan is still my favorite. |

It would appear that Arrested Development is now gone. I am happy and sad at the same time. I really would have loved to see more episodes but it may have turned shitty, but now the series has ended with a strong 3 seasons. Since the creator has decided not to return there should be no return of AD at all. So this is the end of the Final Countdown. |

So on Thursday afternoon, instead of going to class i played double dash with karel. We have been known to get very competitive about this game and tear our friendship apart. (We have a truce that is flimsy at best) So while playing the Cruise level, Karel and I were first and second on the end of the third lap. Just as we were about to cross the finish line i caught up and we slid into the line, it was so close that we could not believe it. And then what happened next we will not forget.
This photo has not been altered, we have tied to a hundredth of a second. If you have ever played double dash you will know how crazy this is. Also as a note, i maintained second place and Karel got first. |

Well despite my moral guidance's advice i have decided to inform everone that if you ever goto A&W and their are no sesame seeds on your hamburger bun, then its because my mom took them from you! Currently my mother is on a quasi-rampage to eliminate the evil seeds from this Earth. Why you must ask? Well simply put my mother HATES sesame seeds. Please, do not hold me responsible for my mothers crazyness, i love the seeds as much as the next red blooded Canadian, so stop throwing stuff at me :( |
